Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a medical staff?

Yes, we have a combination of athletic trainers, nurses, adults training to become medical staff, and appropriately trained administrative staff to handle all care for players who aren’t feeling well or get injured. We also have an “on-call” doctor to call in case of extreme injuries.

What medical information do you need?

A copy of a physical exam from a date more recently than March 1 of the previous year and a copy of immunization records are required. Pursuant to state law, no camper will be allowed to participate until all forms are received.

Is there a half day option?

Yes! The half day price is $250. Camp breaks for lunch at 11:45/Noon - that is when the half day campers will get picked up and head home for the day. Most children grade 2 and up can manage the full days. Some kindergartners and 1st graders can handle the full day as well - you know your kids the best! we make sure to provide appropriate amounts of rest, nourishment, and alternative options throughout the day. We tailor our activities accordingly to be both age appropriate and to manage the weather/heat. In the end, most kids don't want to miss out on all the fun and ask to stay longer by the end of the week!

Can I switch weeks after registering?

Maybe, assuming there is space available for the other week. If the other week is already full, you will be added to the wait list and be notified if a spot opens up. Your original registration spot will be held until you confirm a switch or confirm you will not be using that spot any more.

How do I register?

To register you must go to the “Registration” page and sign up using the online form and payment system. You will also need to obtain a copy of your child’s medical records (physical within 18 months and immunization records) and submit that as well.

What is your refund policy?

The refund policy has changed recently due to changes in our payment processor's policies and the number of people who have signed up early and then canceled their registration. We have reinstituted a full refund for cancelations prior to June 1. After that the schedule below reflects the refund amount allotted based on the date of cancelation.

Cancellation Information:

These fees apply no matter the reason for cancellation including concerns over COVID or injuries.

Cancellation Date and Refund Amount

If spot is filled: 75% Credited to 2024 OR 50% Refund

If spot is unfilled: 50% Credited to 2024

Do you have an early drop-off period or late pick-up period?

We have discontinued the early drop-off period now that the camp start time has been moved up from 9 AM to 8:15/8:30. Drop off starts 15 minutes before camp starts, which we think is sufficient. If you need a later pick up time than the normal end of camp, please reach out to Jimmy to make arrangements.

Where is Drop Off and Pick up at the Rashi School?

Location/Directions: 8000 Great Meadow Road Dedham, MA

Please drive slowly through the entire neighborhood and in the parking lot! We are guests here, please be respectful of those who live and work in the area. There are speed bumps along Great Meadow Road.

Pick Up and Drop Off Instructions/Directions:

In both cases, it is “curb-side” and “stay in your” to minimize crowding, chaos, and to expedite the process. Follow the signs and directions of staff for this! Staff will help kids in/out of their car. Do not unload unless a staff person is assisting. Click here for an image of the parking lot.

In front of the school is a large parking lot. As you approach the school, take a left into the parking area (you will see signs for camp). At the far right end of the parking lot is the access road to go behind the school. Drop Off and Pick up will be there (look for the signs).

Drop Off Directions: After turning left into the parking area, proceed straight to the access road and you will be greeted by staff who will help kids out of their car. Once your care is empty, proceed left and loop around the outer perimeter of the parking lot back to Great Meadow Road.

Pick Up Directions: After turning left into the parking area, you will take a left down one of the parking lanes. At the end of the parking lane, turn right. Once you reach the far corner, turn right again and form a line at the “Wait Here” sign just before the access road. After picking up, proceed by turning right out of the parking lot. You will then turn right AGAIN onto Great Meadow Road.

As you turn into the driveway, the field will be at the end of the driveway with a circle at the end. Go to the end of the driveway and loop around the circle (you will see signs for camp).

Drop Off Directions: As you loop around the circle, stay to the right and follow the directions of the staff to pull up as far as possible, then we will assist your kids in unloading from the car.

Pick Up Directions for Half Day: This is the same process and location as drop off.

Pick Up Directions for Full Day: As you loop around the circle, stay right until you reach the “Wait Here” sign. A person will be there to ask who you are picking up. You will then be asked to turn right back up the driveway, then pull to the right, in front of the entrance to Valeo, where your child will make their way out to load into your car. After picking up, you can turn left or right onto Wells Avenue to return to Nahant St.

Do you have an early bird or multi-week discount?

We do not have a multi-week discount. Due to the high demand of camp, there is no early bird discount.

Are you able to do partial weeks?

Generally speaking - no. Because of demand for the camp, I am able to fill all the spots with individuals who will attend for the full week. So if you only wanted to attend for 3 or 4 days, you will still need to pay for the full week. There have been times where I was able to pair up two families who wanted to do different days of the same week to allow them both to attend part of the week but only use up 1 spot. This isn't common, but is possible if there are families that can be matched up. So don't be afraid to tell me what you are hoping for and I can let you know if an opportunity presents itself.

What happens if I get hurt at camp?

If an injury is sustained at camp that prevents a camper from returning, a prorated refund for the full amount of the missed days will be provided. Blisters, sore/tight muscles, aches from multiple days of soccer, being tired, and minor cuts, bruises, scrapes, etc. do not qualify as injuries sustained at camp that prevents a camper from returning.
